The sumptuous dream of quaint villages with cobbled streets and people nodding buon giorno and buona sera; of brilliant sunshine and gentle rolling hills dotted with stately cypresses; of undiscovered trattorias and endless carafes of ruby red wine; of newly-pressed extra-virgin olive oil and unhurried lunches on verandas shaded by grape-laden pergolas. A dream about more than simply seeing sights and checking off places. A dream about actually living like a Tuscan instead of peeking in from the periphery of a tour group.

But to truly live like a Tuscan, you must first master a few essentials. And so we invite you to spend a week at the Toscana Saporita Cooking School, located at beautiful Fattoria Camporomano, a 500 year-old country estate.

At Toscana Saporita, you are taught to cook like a true Tuscan, one day churning out an incredible bowl of homemade four-color pasta tossed with roasted red peppers and basil-infused olive oil; the next, a platter of radicchio-stuffed ravioli sauced with brown butter and sage. Daily three-hour lessons transform you into a veritable expert on traditional Tuscan cuisine.

But in addition to learning to cook like a Tuscan, you will also learn to eat like one - long, leisurely lunches on a sun-drenched lawn facing Toscana Saporita's ancient villa, and four-course dinners served at an elegantly-set, candlelit table. All meals are accompanied by unlimited quantities of excellent local vintages, including Fattoria Camporomano's own.
