in the delightful mountainside village of centrally located Positano on
the Amalfi Coast, Casa Maresca Residence
overlooks the deep blue
Mediterranean. This property offers uncommon values for those who who
seek the thrill-of-a-lifetime experience of living on and exploring this
world-famous vacation destination.
There are 4 apartments and a double room with
private bath available at Casa . These are "holiday
apartments", very comfortable and clean, equipped with everything one
needs for a holiday at the seaside, including full kitchens and bathroom
facilities. All have terraces with superb views of the sea and the
surrounding mountains. Shops and restaurants are within a few minutes'
walk.  A word of caution, however. While the town of
Positano is a corner of paradise built on a mountainside sloping down to
the sea, walks in town are up and down stairs, not gentle strolls. We
therefore do not recommend this location for our elderly or infirm
guests.
Apartment 1/2
consists of two double bedrooms each with its own complete bathroom, and
kitchen/dining area, living doom with divan bed, and terraces. It sleeps
up to 5 persons.
Apartment 3/6 consists of a double bedroom with bathroom,
a living/dining area with 2 divan beds, a small second bathroom with
shower, a small kitchenette and a large terrace. It sleeps 3 to 4

a double bedroom with bathroom, a small living/dining area with 2 divan
beds, a small second bathroom with hip bath and hand shower, a small
kitchenette and a large terrace. It sleeps 3 to 4, though 3 are more
comfortable here.
Studio consists of a
double bedroom with living/dining area, a small bathroom, a small
kitchenette and a shared terrace. It sleeps 2.
Double Room consists of a double bedroom with private
bathroom and a shared terrace. It

2. Casa Maresca bathrooms have, unless
otherwise stated, baths with hand-held showers, toilets, bidets, and
washbasins. Kitchens have gas stove tops and refrigerators
with cooking utensils and dishes for as many guests as there are beds.

Prices are per week (except as
noted) and are all inclusive except for
extra central heating, extra maid service, and extra linen, if
desired. Central heating is on in the winter months for two
hours in the morning and three hours in the evening, when
necessary. If required for longer periods, there will be an
extra charge per hour. A security deposit of $150-$200 is
collected here in the USA and returned to you within a month of
your departure from the rental.
Bed linen and
towels (for use in the apartment) are supplied. A change of
linen is provided weekly for rentals longer than 7 days. Towels
are not to be taken to or used on the beach. Guests wishing to
use beach towels are asked to bring their own. Apartments are cleaned and all linen is
changed each week. (The double room is cleaned daily.) There is
no final cleaning charge, and guests are asked to leave their
unit reasonably clean upon departure. Daily maid service, and
extra linen service, can be arranged at an extra cost. |
