years and now offers a welcoming refuge for up to 12 with beautifully landscaped grounds, lovely gardens, quiet
retreats and a secluded pool and lounge area. This is a perfect
location for a family reunion or special celebrations! The
estate has been beautifully maintained and the original villa
was renovated to include two spacious flats.
In addition to the large
shared pool and outdoor lounge area overlooking ancient olive
groves and vineyards, both apartments have private entrances
and gardens. The ancient stone walls are highlighted by beamed
ceilings, polished terra cotta floors and elegant but
comfortable furnishings. Its central location is ideal for
day
trips to
Florence,
Lucca
and the Chianti countryside.
Entered from a private courtyard,
the Main Villa accommodates up to seven in five bedrooms
and five baths. The interiors are cool in summer and warm in
winter. The spacious living room has picture windows
overlooking the private park-like gardens. A generous formal
dining room overlooks an 18th century formal rose
garden. The country kitchen has a wonderful marble sink,
raised Tuscan hearth and is fully equipped to handle large
groups. A formal garden and private outdoor dining area is
directly off the kitchen. All bedrooms and baths are located on
this level, making this a very comfortable accommodation for a
group including those with limited mobility. An additional
apartment on
the second floor accommodates up to four in two bedrooms
and one full bath. This apartment has a private entrance, a sitting room and
a small fully-equipped kitchen.

Prices include
satellite TV, use of the pool, laundry
facilities. Off-street parking is available on the villa
grounds.
Additional charges include central heating, if used,
use of telephone (metered), and final cleaning (€80 for up to 7
persons, .€130 for 8 to 11 persons) Daily cleaning, a change of
linens, cooking services, baby-sitters and/or tour guides may
all be arranged for additional fees. These additional fees
are payable directly to the caretaker upon departure.
A security deposit of $500 is
collected in advance, and returned within a month of your
departure from the villa less any charges for loss or breakage.
