Just around the corner from the Chiesa del Carmine with its incredible Brancacci chapel, CASETTA VANNA BELLINI, a small apartment for two, is located in a Florentine neighborhood with small family owned craft shops, fruit and vegetable stands and quiet trattorie such as “Cavello Nero”, just a few steps away and, of course, the Brancacci frescos.  Michaelangelo visited these frescoes often to study Masaccio’s brilliant use of perspective.  Nearby Santa Trinita, the Pitti Palace and the Ponte Vecchio are easily explored at leisure.

The apartment has one bedroom with a matrimoniale or queen sized bed, basic kitchen, simple bath with shower and a small sitting room (with sofa bed), and a dining area with a pretty window.  It is up 32 steps and shares the same floor as the owner’s exclusive shop where she fashions clothing for some of the more famous Italian designers. It is perfectly located for living as the Florentines do, surrounded by friendly neighborhood amenities and some of the most spectacular art in the world.

Prices is per week and is all inclusive of heating, linens and towels (changed weekly), and final cleaning. The only extra charge, based upon metered usage, is for central heating and air conditioning, if used  This charge is paid upon your departure.
