 La Casuccia features gas central heating for year-around comfort, and a modern kitchen with a range, gas stove with broiler, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, table and chairs for 6, and dishwasher. For sleeping accommodations, there are 2 double bedrooms, each with a firm, queen-sized, bed, and a wardrobe. The bathroom contains a shower, and a combination clothes washer-dryer. There are ceiling fans in the bedroom and den.

A restaurant and several small shops are located about 4 blocks distant. The bus stop, which goes directly downtown to the central train station and to Settignano, is also about 4 blocks away. Another stop is less than 1 mile distant.

This house is ideal for long-term rentals for 1 or 2 couples, or a family of  2 adults and 1-2 children who wish to explore the countryside around Florence by car, yet have easy automobile-free access to the city. It is also very conveniently located and within walking distance of Villa I Tatti (Harvard University) and Coverciano (where the Italian National Soccer team practices).
