La Ginestra-F09A-E

Once a cluster of ancient farm buildings, La Ginestra has been transformed into a charming bed and breakfast that includes a trattoria and small gift shop featuring estate products (such as olive oil, natural honey, pasta and sauces). 

Overlooking beautifully landscaped grounds and a large swimming pool, shared with nearby Villa Mandorlo, the trattoria frequently offers a “Tuscan Heritage” dinner featuring special dishes of the region and the season. The surrounding gardens offer guests an opportunity to take long walks, find a quiet retreat for reading or perhaps take time for a picnic.  The pool is typically open from May 15 to September 30.

Accommodations are on two floors range from a simply furnished single room with bath to a three bedroom two bath apartment with kitchen and basic sitting area as follows:

• ACACIA: Sleeps 2. Second Floor. Double bedded room, separate small kitchen, shower room with toilet.

• TIMO: Sleeps 4. Ground Floor. Double bedded room, sitting/dining room with fireplace, well equipped kitchen corner and double convertible sofa bed, shower room with toilet, private door to garden.

• FLORA: Sleeps 6. Second Floor. Double bedded room, twin bedded room, spacious sitting/dining room with well equipped kitchen corner and double convertible sofa bed. Shower room with toilet.

• LAVANDA: Sleeps 6. Second floor. Double bedded room, room with three beds, living room with convertible sofa bed, separate kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 1 with tub and shower, 1 with shower.

• ROSMARINO: Sleeps 6. Ground floor. Double bedded room with private shower and toilet, one twin bedded room with private shower and toilet, spacious suite with fireplace, double convertible sofa bed, kitchen. Private door to garden.

Cooking services can be arranged with advance notice.  The English speaking caretaker resides at La Ginestra.
