Apartment Gioia offers spectacular views of the Duomo and the red-tiled rooftops of Florence from its fourth floor location.  It is situated on a narrow, cobble-stoned street  in the heart of Florence’s historic district just a few blocks from the Uffizi Gallery, the Bargello Museum, Dante’s House, and the lively Piazza della Signoria with its magnificent outdoor sculptures and pleasant sidewalk cafes.   Nearby are restaurants and shops offering a variety of goods, everything from fine Florentine paper to leather jackets.

The entrance to Apartment Gioia is into a foyer lined with bookshelves that opens into the living/dining room area.  Tall windows that reach above the neighboring rooftops let in natural light and create an airy atmosphere.  Two of the windows facing the Duomo, one in the dining area and another in a bedroom, have small, graceful, sculpted balconies.

There are two bedrooms, one with twin beds (or double) and one with a double bed; a basic kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, stove top and toaster oven; and two bathrooms with showers.  Other amenities include a washing machine, telephone, satellite television, and a stereo with a CD/DVD player.  The furnishings throughout are simple but comfortable.

Since there is no elevator in the building, this apartment is suitable for guests who are able to climb the three flights of stairs to reach it.  Those who do will be rewarded by its splendid views.

Prices is per week and is all inclusive except as indicated here.  Extra charges are made for utility usage on monthly rentals and for final cleaning (€40/week, €60/month)  These charges are paid upon your departure.
