Locandella del Poggio is a charming bed and breakfast situated 6 km from Florence, in a lush and peaceful hill setting with beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. Located in the attractive village of Lastra a Signa, guests have the choice of several restaurants, shopping and easy bus access to Florence.

Sunny and airy rooms in a garden-like setting make this bed and breakfast an ideal place to begin and end each day.  Each of the four air conditioned double bedrooms is furnished with a queen-size bed plus a double sofa bed, a private bathroom with  shower, metered telephone, internet connection, mini-bar, satellite television, hair dryer, and private safe.  French doors open onto a pleasant private garden patio.  Rooms are cleaned daily, with a bed and bath linen change every 3 days.

Breakfast and evening snacks are served in a lovely common room.  The owner’s daughter is your hostess and speaks excellent English.

Next to Locandella is a beautiful wooded area, perfect for walking or mountain biking.  Within easy driving distance are a public swimming pool, tennis and horseback riding.
