Villa Lysis is a perfect 'homebase' for either simple relaxation or exploration of the delights of Florence without the hustle-bustle of the city. The Tuscan estate of Villa Lysis, a lovingly restored classic Tuscan town house, is located just outside Lastra a Signa, about 20 km. southwest of Florence.

Villa Lysis offers spectacular views of central Florence and the Arno valley from its private garden, comfortable accommodations for up to five adults and one child, and delightfully detailed hand painted rooms.  History buffs will enjoy a trip to the villa's wine cellar where the owner has excavated a number of artifacts dating back to the early 17th century.

The charming village of Lastra a Signa is only 1-1/2 km away.  There you can find a complete array of shops and services. Express bus service to central Florence (20 minutes) may be obtained at the village piazza.  An excellent restaurant, Edy Piu, is a few steps from the front courtyard entrance.

This classic Florence villa features:

• Two master bedrooms (one with double bed and one with either double or twin beds) are located on the upper level. Either master bedroom can accommodate an extra twin-sized bed, and both are air-conditioned; another bedroom is located on the main level
• A artist studio/library that can be used as an extra bedroom (single)

Renting Villa Lysis-F02

Pricing is all-inclusive except for telephone, which is charged by meter, and heating, which is charged by consumption at the rate of €1/cubic meter of gas. Payment for these and extra maid and cooking services are payable directly to the owner prior to departure.

A baby crib and high chair is available for use for €50 per week.

A security/breakage deposit of $500 is collected with final payment and returned to within 30 days following departure from the apartment less, of course, any charges for breakage.
