High above the tiled roofs of  the old borgo of Portovenere, the Attico Azzuro, the blue attic, offers a romantic hide away for two.  Its very secluded location on the fifth floor (no elevator) of an ancient stone building on the narrow Via Capellini ensures privacy and easy access to a selection of excellent restaurants and local services. 

Bright and airy, the house features tasteful furnishings and sparkling colors. There is one double bedroom with queen size bed with beautiful linens and one bathroom with shower. The living area is furnished with a comfortable sofa bed and two arm chairs and opens to a small terrace overlooking the roofs and seaside beyond.  There is a comfortable dining area (space for 6) and a tiny kitchen with pretty tiles, a stove top, microwave, dishwasher, convenient storage, and views over Portovenere’s castle.

This popular seaside village offers a good variety of shops and services. Boat rentals by the day are available at the harbor. Nearby secluded beaches, inaccessible by car or on foot, can be conveniently reached via rental boats, available at the harbor.  Tennis courts are within easy walking distance. The autostrada and nearest train station are both in La Spezia 10 km. distant.
