Villa La Cicala - E16

Near the small village of Canevolivo, one of many Cinque Terre locales surrounded by charming country estates, Villa La Cicala is a beautifully restored manor house for up to 7 in three bedrooms and three full baths.  The original house dates to the 15^th century and the owner architect has created a luxury retreat for family and friends with casual elegance, consideration for comfort and maintenance of charming original details.

La Cicala’s private gates open to a graceful landscaped garden that is equipped with attractive garden furniture and a crystal clear swimming pool. The entire property is surrounded by tall hedges for complete privacy.  For children there is a small playground area and plenty of room for running around in a safe and secure environment. The outdoor dining area is covered and perfect for entertaining near the pool.

The covered dining area opens to a fully equipped country kitchen and the spacious living room with a fireplace and dining area.  On this floor there is also a large bathroom with a jacuzzi.  Throughout the house, beautiful fabrics, comfortable furnishings, light and airy rooms with views of the handsome gardens and nearby mountains contribute to the attractive and restful atmosphere.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms, and two full bathrooms.  The spacious master suite has a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a hydra shower.  The second bedroom has two twins and the third bedroom has one single bed. There is a full bath.   From the game room with billiards table there is a short staircase to an additional open space loft that has two single beds that can be put together upon request and a small gym with weights. The owner’s wife has a passion for exquisite fabrics and all of the bedrooms have beautiful handmade linens and quilts with very interesting combinations of prints.  Very unique!

Near the gate’s entrance is a separate game room, with a bar, foccacia oven, fireplace, and a table for up to 10 people and a small bathroom.  Décor includes two antique motorcycles along with other interesting memorabilia.

Four hours of daily maid service are included in the price of the property along with gardener and pool maintenence.  A private chef is available for special meals at the villa with a very good choice of special wines. It is ideally located for exploring Cinque Terre, Coastal Tuscany, Liguria, Florence, Lucca or the Chianti region because the autostrada is only a ten minute drive from the villa.
