Villa Chiara sparkles with the brilliant colors of the Chianti vineyard and the Tuscan sun.  Originally built in the 18^th century as a grand country villa, it has been gracefully restored by its owners to display the best features of Tuscan design, high ceilings, terra cotta floors and walls washed with the fabulous Tuscan palette of earthy golds, reds, vineyard greens and the mellow Tuscan azure sky.  With wonderful views of the countryside, extensive private gardens, spacious terraces and a fabulous in-ground pool with bathhouse, Villa Chiara accommodates up to 13 in five bedrooms and four baths.

Villa Chiara offers a splendid opportunity to enjoy all of Tuscany. Lucca, Florence, Siena, the Chianti vineyards, and Pisa are all within easy driving distance.  There is even a spa town at Casciani Terme, just a short distance away! Local shopping is within walking distance and several excellent trattorie and restaurants are located nearby.

Guests enter the villa grounds through a gated garden with ample off street parking. The villa is on three levels.  The main level of the house is reached from a grand terrace. The living room is light and airy with tall French windows, a fireplace and colorful yellow and red upholstered pieces.  Furnishings throughout include a gracious mix of family antiques and decorator sofas, chairs and fabrics. On the main level there is a formal dining room seating 12, as well as a charming library/TV room and a large eat-in country kitchen. The kitchen is completely equipped with dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer and 6 burner electric and gas stove and has plenty of workspace for the gourmet cook. A master bedroom and full bath with tub and hand held shower are also found on the main floor.  Starting in June 2007, the villa will be equipped with high speed internet.

The ground floor level contains a summer living room and dining room for 18 guests as well as a summer kitchen with small stove, refrigerator and dishwasher.  There is a second TV room here as well as a covered loggia for dining al fresco.  A second master suite with bath with a large walk-in shower is also located on this level.

The in-ground pool and bathhouse are reached from the ground floor.  In addition to changing rooms, toilet and showers, guests will find a fabulous terraced pool deck and covered loggia with spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside.

Upstairs, are three spacious bedrooms and two baths.  Two of the bedrooms have queen-sized beds and the third bedroom has three twin-sized beds.  Each of the rooms has plenty of space and lovely views from large windows.

Guests receive a welcome dinner of typical regional dishes. What a wonderful way to start a vacation!
