Casa Irma's grounds are extensive with lovely orchards and olive groves and grass covered meadows.  An outdoor barbeque is convenient to a pergola with a large table and benches overlooking a fenced children's  play area and above-ground pool.  Tennis buffs will enjoy the tennis court. 

The recently renovated original building dating from 1720 showcases old stone floors and contemporary amenities. On the main floor, a comfortably furnished double living room - with large Tuscan fireplace - and  dining room - with farmhouse table for 14 - are enhanced by garden views.  The dining room opens to the garden through French doors.  The cozy country kitchen - fully equipped with microwave, gas stove and oven, and a refrigerator with freezer - is just steps away from both the dining room and an outdoor covered loggia with ceiling fan.  There is a half-bath and washing machine on this level.

Upstairs, are 3 light and airy bedrooms that can be made up with twin or queen size beds and another twin-bedded room.  There are two full baths, one with tub and hand-held shower and one with a stall shower.  Handmade fabrics and country antiques make these rooms especially charming and the window screens promise peaceful sleeping.

The caretaker for Casa Irma lives nearby and is available to prepare typical Tuscan meals upon request and for an additional charge.  Supermarkets and other shopping are located nearby. This is a wonderful location for families traveling with young children.
