 Casa La Volpe
offers wonderful views of the countryside, private gardens and spacious
terraces, all within a few minutes drive of the walled city of Lucca. Quiet
without being remote, Casa La Volpe accommodates up to 16 in 8
bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. It is also available as two separate
attached residences, each of which accommodates 6-8. The residence can
be connected through a common interior door.
A spectacular pool with views of the countryside
completes this large country property. The landscaped patio with covered
gazebos and potted citrus trees is pleasingly illuminated for late evening
suppers. Its beautiful gardens and spectacular terraces invite guests to
relax and its tastefully renovated interiors retain the original features of
a Tuscan country home while providing comfortable modern conveniences.
Each residence has a separate entrance from the
spacious terrace. Each has four bedrooms, two double bedded rooms and two
single bedded rooms. Furnishings include a gracious mix of family antiques
and comfortable sofas and chairs. There is a TV in each bedroom. The
large country kitchens are completely equipped with dishwasher,
refrigerator/freezer and gas stove and a large dining table and a
fireplace. There is plenty of work space for the gourmet cook. Each of the
residences has a sitting room and a television room.
 Casa Ada has
four full baths on the
second floor, three with tub-showers and one with stall shower, plus a full
bathroom with stall shower on the main floor.
Casa Michele has three full baths,
2 with tub-shower and 1
with stall shower on the second floor and a fourth full bath with shower on
the main floor.
Several outdoor living areas are available
including a covered loggia and a poolside terrace with spectacular views of
the countryside and the Tuscan sunset. Casa
La Volpe offers a splendid opportunity to
enjoy all of Tuscany. Florence, Siena (1 hour), the Chianti vineyards (50
minutes), and Pisa (45 minutes) are within easy driving distance. Local
shopping and several excellent trattorie and restaurants are nearby.
Guests enter the villa grounds through an electric gate (remote supplied
upon arrival), and there is ample off-street parking. There is a
separate building with a washing machine for guests to use.
