Located on the edge of the charming village of Selci, just an hour from Rome, you will be welcomed into the gracious hospitality at the Villa Vallerosa family estate. Villa Vallerosa is a working farm that produces its own wine, olive oil, fruits, vegetables, prosciutto, and - among an interesting assortment of livestock - thoroughbred horses. Guests are free to explore the estate grounds, swim in the lovely pool, pick vegetables for the evening meal, converse with the current "prosciutto pig", or wander the medieval villages and ancient castles of the surrounding countryside.  Only 45 km away, Rome can easily be reached by train from a nearby station. Golf and tennis can also be arranged at a Relais & Chateaux hotel nearby.

Villa Vallerosa offers four comfortable apartments with splendid views of the valley and mountains to the east and south, and private gardens to enjoy the famous climate. These apartments are located in the main villa at the top of the estate.  La Rosetta, a separate building a short distance down the hill is not available for rental this year, although the marvelous pool is available for guests at the main villa.

Main Villa apartments

Baccara', a lovely apartment for two, is located on the ground floor of the main villa. It has its own private entrance and garden. The large living and dining area has comfortable seating and a huge fireplace. A complete kitchen, bath with tub and hand shower, and bedroom with double bed complete the accommodation.

Apartments Ascot and Epsom are located on the top floor of the main villa. With a private entrance stairway serving the guests of these apartments, each has a fully-furnished kitchen corner, living/dining area, and a large private terrace. Ascot has two double bedrooms suitable for up to 4, and a terrace overlooking what appears to the whole of Sabina!  Epsom is suitable for 3, with a double bedroom and single bedroom.

Apartment New Castle is being completed in 2007, and is on the 2nd floor up a short flight of stairs.  It will consist of 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower, 1 living room and 1 kitchenette with 3 beautiful big arched windows overlooking the villa's garden.

Also, there will be a new, beautiful common living room by the villa, where the barn used to be, for the guests to gather.

Renting Villa Vallerosa-R30

**Daily rates have a two day minimum stay.

A final cleaning charge is payable upon departure.  It is €20 for a 2 person apartment, €30 for a 3 person apartment, and €40 for a 4 person apartment.

Golf and tennis can also be arranged at the Relais & Chateaux hotel nearby for a small fee.

Extra services are available at Villa Vallerosa, for which payment is made directly to the owner/caretaker prior to departure:  Extra Bed - €20.00/day, Central Heating - by  consumption, Extra cleaning - €8/hour.

A security/breakage deposit of approximately 15% of the rental cost will be collected with your final payment, and returned within one month following your departure from Villa Vallerosa.
