Villa Vista Torre enjoys a breathtaking view of the ancient towers of San Gimignano from its spectacular setting overlooking the Tuscan countryside.  The olive groves and small vineyard surrounding this delightfully restored 220 year old farm house produce the extra virgin olive oil and delicious Chianti Colli Senesi wine for the owner’s family and the estate’s lucky guests.

Villa Vista Torre can accommodate up to 10 in 5 bedrooms and 5 full baths in the main house and luxurious pool side studio.  The stunning pool and terrace with views of the towers and incredible Tuscan landscape completes this large country property.  This is truly a unique and special destination for discriminating travelers.

 The main villa has two levels.  On the main level, a spacious living room overlooks the Tuscan countryside and the towers of San Gimignano.  Here a great fireplace surrounded by smart and comfortable sofas and chairs offers a relaxing spot to enjoy the views or perhaps listen to the piano.  A second living area, separated by a lovely arch and a few steps, contains an inviting library, satellite TV and more comfortable furnishings. An attractive dining area is set near the windows.

Throughout the property, beautiful terracotta floors complement a choice selection of fine antique Italian furniture.  The large country kitchen is completely equipped and has a large refrigerator/freezer, gas stove, dishwasher and a large dining table and a typical Tuscan fireplace.  There is plenty of work space for the gourmet cook. There is a  bathroom with sink, with a washing machine and a dryer (one of the very few in Italy) near the kitchen.  There are three bedrooms (1 double, 2 twin bedded) and two additional bathrooms, one with tub and one with shower, on this level. These bedrooms have window screens.

On the lower floor, opening directly to the terrace and pool, there is a twin bedded room and sitting room, a bathroom with shower (in the former wine cellar!) and a fully equipped “summer kitchen”.  There is a sofa bed here for two extra guests.  A few steps away, across the terrace sits the elegant studio for two (twin beds, but can be arranged into one large bed) with its own bathroom with shower and corner kitchen.  The views from this charming room are absolutely awe-inspiring.

The estate was once part of a 14^th century Franciscan monastery and the ancient and beautifully preserved chapel is just across the road. There are several fine Tuscan restaurants and excellent wineries. nearby and San Gimignano is a leisurely 15 minute drive. There is good shopping in Poggiobonsi (15 minutes) and Florence and Siena are less than an hour away.  The caretakers live across the road.
