 Although San Marco may be the most famous piazza in the world, Venice is
filled with sunny, colorful squares flanked by ancient churches,
sidewalk cafes and small shops filled with fresh fruits and
vegetables. Casa Teresa, offers charming and comfortable surroundings
for 2 to 4 persons in the Santa Croce section of Venice only a block
from the Grand Canal.
Located on the ancient Campo San Zan Degola, a
peaceful piazza, Casa Teresa is surrounded by a quiet
residential neighborhood. Several small shops and trattorie are
nearby offering an amazing array of seafood and fresh vegetables
prepared in interesting and uniquely Venetian ways.
 What better way to experience the pleasures and treasures of Venice than
from within its heart? It is a 15 minute walk to the Rialto Bridge and a
10 minute walk or water taxi ride from/to the train station. Most of
Venice's famous churches, museums and shopping can be reached by foot or
by boat.
A private entrance on the Calle del Capitello, a
narrow walking route leading from the Campo S. Zan Degola, opens on to a
small entry hall. The apartment has a small but tastefully furnished
living room with a double sofa bed, a large charming double bedroom with
views of the piazza, a large, completely equipped kitchen with dining
area and a dishwasher and a bath with shower. Just off the kitchen is a
small private courtyard. Tile floors and original artwork complete the
feeling of a home away from home.
