The beach is at its widest in Marina di Pietrasanta - 200 yards between beach club cabins and the Mediterranean sea. The vast sweep of fine sand insures that even at its busiest time, it is not overcrowded. Summertime visitors, can have membership in a beach club arranged providing a surprisingly pleasant social life for a family.  Beach clubs offer swimming pools and snack bars and restaurants, comfortable beach chairs and cabanas as well as an opportunity to meet friendly Italians enjoying their summer holiday.  These are very sociable places perfect venues for meeting people where children and teenagers can quickly make friends. Hardly surprising that after a few days lazing on the beach, lunching in the restaurant or taking a picnic under the trees near the bar, the "real" world fades into insignificance.

Villa Tonfano, sleeping 5, is a stunningly-designed villa which boasts the best of modern Italian architecture. Entirely open plan living areas are beautifully furnished. Arched covered terrace with wicker furniture and a garden that is always a riot of color are some of the ingredients which make the villa rather special. Villa Tonfano is situated almost opposite a small delicatessen and bar and within walking distance of an excellent pizzeria/restaurant (some traffic noise at busy times). The unobtrusive owners have a self-contained apartment next to the villa and are pleased to be of assistance if needed. This villa comes highly recommended by all of its occupants over the last 14 years.

Villa Daniella, sleeping 6-7,  is a semi-detached villa which stands back from the road behind a large yard, filled with tall Mediterranean pine trees. The villa is situated close to all amenities such as shops, the beach, local trattorie, and the tennis club. The interior furnishings tend to be rather simple and are intended for summer living. The living area opens out through French doors onto the large terracotta tiled veranda with tables and chairs, ideal for dining out of doors.

Villa Franca, sleeping 6, is a villa located in the Tonfano area of Marina di Pietrasanta and within easy walking distance of local cafes, trattorie, bars, the Saturday market, and the beach, so a car is not essential. The villa is at the end of a cul-de-sac. The friendly owners, Fabbio and Franca, are on hand to assist you, they run the house like a small hotel and ensure that everything in the villa is carefully tended to. There is a built-in barbeque in the garden and table and chairs to help you enjoy outdoor life to the fullest. The villa has a high standard of interior furnishings.

Villa Biagi, sleeping 4, is located in the Tonfano area within walking and cycling distance of the Marina center with its cafes, boutiques, and bars. Convenient for local shops, trattorie and the beach, a car is not essential here. This is a luxurious villa which will delight the most discerning of guests. The house stands on a cul-de-sac, in the middle of immaculate lawns dotted with vividly colored flowers and scented shrubs. The interior furnishings are of the highest quality, with a large living area that leads out onto the "cotto" paved terrace overlooking the lovely garden. It is well-equipped with sun umbrella and patio furniture. The garden and villa are kept in immaculate condition by the owner, Signora Lida. This is a villa for those that like to vacation in style.

Villa Clara, sleeping 6, is a recently renovated, semi-detached villa, centrally situated in the residential area of Tonfano within walking distance of all amenities. It is bright, comfortable and tastefully furnished in a mixture of modern and antique styles.

Entrance is through French doors from the veranda into the large L-shaped living/dining room with comfortable sitting area. The kitchen is basic, but complete. From the living area a wide staircase leads to the landing on the second floor with small sitting area and doors leading to the sun terrace. Villa Clara is highly recommended.

Accommodation: Large living/dining room, kitchen, one shower-room downstairs, one bathroom upstairs, three bedrooms (one master double, one twin, one bunks), sun terrace, small veranda and garden to the front of the house. Villa La Bruna, sleeping 6-7, is a good-sized house situated in the residential area of Tonfano and is within easy reach of food shops, bars, and an excellent family-run restaurant/pizzeria. The center of Tonfano, set just back from the beach, is within a reasonable walking distance. Here you will find shops, cafes, bars and banks, and on Saturdays, the location of a colorful market. This is an excellent base for guests to take advantage of local amenities.

A spacious, sunny living area opens out through French doors onto a cotto-tiled patio, overlooking the small flower garden, where meals can be taken under the shade of a pine tree. The bedrooms are arranged so that guests sharing the villa retain a degree of privacy. Interior furnishings are comfortable in a simple, unpretentious, style. As well as an ideal summer base, the villa is also recommended for out of season rentals.
